| All students are
eligible to join the Training Band, Performing Band or Rock Band from year 3
onwards |

Band rehearsals are
held after school for 1 hour for each band (Training and Performing Bands).
The Bands perform at least once each term at school events such as Grandfriend's
Day, Education Week Open Day, Pre-Schoolers/Senior Citizens Day and Presentation
Day. The Bands also participate in Eisteddfods in competition with other
schools. |

Instrument
demonstrations are held in Term 4 each year to encourage students to join the
Band for the next year.
Students are
encouraged to commit to regular weekly practice and to receive individual
tuition in addition to the weekly band rehearsals
