| Abbotsford has a strong Chess Club of enthusiastic
student participants run by volunteer parents and supervised by a staff
member. |

The Chess Club meets once per week
after school and competes in the Inner
West Chess Competition on Friday afternoons. Students may elect to
participate in both the practice sessions as well as join one of the 2
teams to represent the school.

one another while they learn the skills of the game.
