Abbotsford Public School has a well equipped computer room with 30 networked computers,  a printer and scanner. Thanks to the P&C we now have a beautifully refurbished room with new chairs, tables and display boards.

The Information and Communication Technologies program operates for all classes from Kindergarten to Year 6. Students have weekly ICT lessons which are taught by the specialist ICT teacher and the class teacher. Additional computer room time is allocated to each class throughout the week.

The school focuses on effectively integrating computer based technologies throughout all Key Learning Areas. All computer activities support the development of syllabus outcomes and are designed to incorporate all curriculum areas throughout the course of the year. They also allow students to gain important skills in the general use of computers to better equip them in their future years. All computers in the laboratory have access to the Internet which is used for research and Email.

The school also has digital cameras and  a video camera with editing software. These are used for multimedia presentations.

The students use a wide range of programs for Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Databases, Graphics, Multimedia, Internet, Email and Web Design.
Students help to maintain the school web site and have entered the Annual School's Web Design competition in 2001, 2002 and 2005. In 2002 the team were one of five finalists and received the encouragement award and in 2005 were State Runners up.

Last year students from Stage 3 participated in the production of their own movies and three of these movies were chosen to be shown in the NSW School's Film Festival Movie Night at Leichhardt theatre.

Each classroom has 3-4 computers networked to the school network with Internet and Email access available from every Learning space and office in the school.

Student learning programs feature significant higher-order ICT applications from K-6 with the school recognised a leader in ICT integration.
