3/4H

	Our class is called 3/4H. Our teacher is Mr Hough. We have a reading corner in our class which has beanbags to sit on when we are reading. In Term 1 we have studied 'Who Will Buy' in H.S.I.E, 'What is a Processed Product?' in Science, Explanations in English and much more. We have great fun in 3/4H. We drew flow charts to show the different stages of how fruit is canned. These were a part of our written explanations on the topic. This activity linked our learning in English, Science and H.S.I.E. It was interesting to see how food is put into cans for us to buy.
	We studied an artist known as Andy Warhol in Creative Arts. We found out that many of his prints focussed on popular everyday items or 'pop art'. We sketched some everyday objects found in most homes and added our own original colours to the drawings. We never thought a painting of a can of spaghetti could be art!
	It was fun to write our own rhyming poetry in English. We could take a nursery rhyme that we knew and change it or we could come up with our own poem. Most people changed a nursery rhyme. It was harder than we thought to make sure that the right lines rhymed. some of the poems were very funny! Top of Page
