Learning Support is provided for identified students in the areas of Literacy and Numeracy. A Literacy Support Teacher is at the school for 2 days per week and assists students with 2 sessions each week. A Numeracy Support Teacher is at the school for 1 day per week and also conducts support in 2 sessions each week for identified students. The Learning Support Team monitors the inclusion of students in these programs. Literacy groups have 10 students in each group, while Numeracy groups have a maximum of 8 students. Support sessions are conducted on a withdrawal basis. A number of students with diagnosed disabilities receive Funding Support to enable teachers’ aides to provided 1:1 and small group assistance in the classroom under the direction of classroom teachers.
